Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

A Great Decision is at Hand.
We have plenty of sources that prove the televisions, phones, cars and other transportation, fossil fuels, lightbulbs, air conditioning, meat, gasoline powered vehicles like cars, mowers, tractors and plenty more harm the environment. However, as knowledgable on these subjects as we are, can we live with out them? Would you be able to live without air conditioning? How about lightbulbs, just living by candles? But then candles produce smoke, so that also harms the environment (little compared to lightbulbs). So does that mean living our lives in darkness, only to have light by the sun and moon? What about cars? Televisions, phones, other technological devices, gasoline? Meat? How would these aspects affect your life, and what ideas can you come up with to fix this tangled web of issues?
