Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Ecosia: help the planet with a click
Ecosia is like any other search engine, but with a big difference: it uses its profits to plant trees.
I discovered Ecosia just a few months ago and I decided to use it as my main search engine instead of Google because I really ilke its purpose.
Their trees bring benefits to people, the environment and local economies.
Until now they have planted 42756000 trees (the number grows every second), and I'm proud to say that I took part of this amazing project.
Every research counts, so make sure to try it at least once to check how well it works and maybe plant a few trees around the world! They're really building a better and more eco-friendly internet, so let's help them! it couldn't be easier: click the link below, search what you want... and you're done!

This is a nice option to use! We need to search something on internet around every day, so we can do it in an environmental-friendly method! If this search engine works and people use it, it will become a nice chance to motivate other investors to create other search engine, websites, etc. and surely it will be for a better cause than the own progress.
