Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Transport problems
I realized calculating my carbon footprint that I consume much CO2 going out with friends at the weekend. This because I live on the mountains and the last bus to go to the city is at 7 p.m. and the last one to come back is at 6.30 p.m, so is quite uncomfortable and I must go with my car.
If there are more people in the group that come from the same village we always go with only one car and we can consume a little bit less and we divide the bill of the gas, so in this case we are a little bit environmental-friendly .
I'd like to find a better way, but with this situation is quite hard to have something better, because this isn't uncomfortable only for go out with friend, but for shopping and other primary needs too.
I have almost te same problem, because I live on the mountains too.
Fortunately I don't go often to the city, because I prefer spend my free tine at home.
When I go there it is to go to a doctor (by car, but is not that much of an impact because we go about 5 times par year) or to go to school.
That made me wonder that we HAVE to move a lot to go to school or to work, and that isn't really good for the enviroment.
What i can think of to solve this problem, would be transform the traditiona school in an E-school (maybe trought the use of VR and place the lessons in a virtual class.
The benefits for this wouldn't be only less carbon production, but also less money to spend in the school, for repairs, energy and so on for the building itself.
What you guys think about this?
