Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Emissions
Every morning thousands of cars drive students hundreds of miles to school and crowd the parking lots in stand still traffic at drop off. This everyday cycle is the cause for anormous amounts of carbon emissions being released into the atmosphere. However, if schools could develop a organized carpooling system for students that lived areas close to one another there would be less cars having to drive individual students. This would reduce the number of cars on the roads and the amount of CO2 being released as well as the busy morning traffic.
a way to reduce the carbon emission is to make a carbon tax, so more CO2 you produce and more you must pay. So, i think that people will produce less CO2
Yeah I agree, this can make everyday easier for the parents/guardians to drop the students off, the kids can avoid being late, and it helps reduce the carbon emissions big time.
