Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

How can we do better?
How can we improve?
I think that to improve you have to start with small things, such as: do not buy water bottles everyday, but reuse them as much as possible, do not use the car if not necessary, but take the means of transport, use the minimum heating at home and cover yourself with extra blankets and sweatshirts.
I definitely agree that we need to start little and soon make our way up to bigger and better things. My class has started to bring in water bottles so they can be reused and recycled. In my family, we travel a lot but to save energy we try to fit as many people in the car as possible. Also, my family just like every other one likes to stay warm during the winter and cool during the summer but this year we are going to try to not to use a lot of heat to help the environment. These are all small steps but these small steps will take each and everyone in the right direction.
