Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Get ready to charge your cars
Pollution is a major aspect of climate change, and with all the cars around us, it isn't going to get much better. That is why in the next ten years, all car companies should switch from gas powered vehicles, to electric powered vehicles. The amount of CO2 that gets put into our atmosphere each day is scary. All around the world there is so much pollution from cars and it creates a bad environment. A typical vehicle emits about 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year. Of course this project will take some time, and money, but spending a little more money is better than facing climate change. If this becomes a reality we could have a much greener planet.
