Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Environmental problems in Belarus.
I would like to hightlight some environmental problems in Belarus. There are a lot of factories with toxic waste, which make the environment polluted. A lot of animals die and many kinds of plants disappear. There are a lot of cars in cities which pollute the air. People develop breathing problems. I think we can use bicycles instead of cars to ride not big distanation. If people start ride bicycles it will bring only favor. We will become healthier and it will be environmentally friendly. I noticed that people throw a lot of trash in the grass not in trash cans. Sorting garbage we will help its recycling. I think it would be good if in our country there were more parks and more trees. it would be also good to have more reserves. We can save our planet and keep it clean if we are more attentive to environment.
