Shorter Showers at Home
I think in general many people take showers about 4-5 days a week which is already using a lot of water plus the heat of the shower causes you to use more energy and your carbon footprint to go up by a little. I think many people get distracted on how long they have been in the shower and end up going for much longer than they need to. Water is the third largest water users in homes and an average of 17.2 gallons of water is being used during that shower. An average of 2.1 gallons per minutes and by cutting your time in the shower by 2 or 3 minutes you can reduce your amount of water by about 5 gallons.
