Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

PLASTICS BAGS
When I go to a store, I always try to carry my own cloth bags, although if I ever forget to take them and the establishment only has plastic bags, I do not use them, I prefer to carry things in my hand, but if the Establishment has bags of paper if I use them. When you are going to compare, do you bring your own bags from home? Do you use plastic bags? In my country the bags are paid, a few months ago the plastic bags were cheaper than the paper bags and in many establishments there were no paper bags but currently they usually have both types or only paper.I come to tell you this because the other day I lived in a situation that angered me a lot, I was buying in a supermarket and a customer had not brought a bag from his house and asked for a bag then the cashier said if he wanted a plastic bag or a paper bag the cashier insisted that they cost the same, but the lady preferred to take the plastic, from my point of view I think we all have to collaborate as we can and try to use less plastic. If you were given a choice between a cheaper plastic bag and another paper bag for 1 cent more, which one would you choose? And if they were worth what you would choose?
