Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Reducing Your Carbon Footprint
There are many webpages and articles such as http://www.globalstewards.org/reduce-ca … tprint.htm , https://www.huffpost.com/entry/7-instan … 73ab57a383 and https://cotap.org/reduce-carbon-emissions/ . All of these sources illustrate different ways to reduce your carbon footprint. However, I have a question: Is it better to exercise all the ways to reduce your carbon footprint? or is it better to find the best and most efficient and do those instead? In other words: is it better to do more ways to reduce your carbon footprint or do what will work the best but may take more time and effort?
In order to prevent carbon from harming the atmosphere, I think it is best to do whatever you can, no matter how small it is. Something like recycling can largely impact the carbon in our atmosphere and prevent pollution in the oceans. You might have one efficient way, but the more we work on every little thing as a community, the more likely it will have an impact.
