Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

What do you think about it?
Mine was lower than the region too! Good Job!
I had a larger transportation then my region too! Good Job!
This is a good carbon footprint for the region!
I am from the USA and my carbon footprint had a total of 13,038kg. Comparing to your footprint it is very high! Compared to where I am from it is lower than the average.
Your total carbon footprint was lower than mine ![]()
Your Carbon Footprint is very good! I live in the USA. Most of your carbon is lower then your region which is very good. My transportation is also very high compared to my region. I think having a low carbon compared to your region is really good.
Your Carbon Footprint is really good. You have lower scores compared with your region, I think it's a good job! ![]()
Your carbon production level much lower than mine! I am interested about how far is your school from your home? I have high results in the transportation category due to my house being 13 kilometers away from my school.
Your carbon production is such low! But maybe you should travel by public transort? Think about that ![]()
You're carbon footprint is low, just like mine. Ways to lower your footprint for at home is changing your light bulbs. Instead of using fluorescent light bulbs, you could use LED bulbs. Also, to make sure you turn off television and lights when they're not being used. Recycling also reduces your carbon footprint. You can recycle water bottles, cardboard boxes, aluminum cans, etc. You could reuse plastic bags from grocery stores or take reusable bags with you when you go shopping. This will help reduce your carbon footprint
I believe that your carbon footprint is very low, which is great! I live in the US and am a very conservative person yet still had an average footprint of 28,580kgs.
Your Total Carbon footprint was pretty low. I am from the US and my region’s average carbon footprint is 15,918 kgs. It would be interesting to know how your transportation is so low as my class’ average was 11,665 kgs. Your food production is also much lower than your region’s which is a good thing.
Hi my name is Bryce from the United States, your carbon footprint is very low to mine. My footprint was around 40,000 kg. I drive a lot around town and to school. Your transportation is very low which is great. I think that there should be public transportation ideas for my town because almost everyone I know drives a lot of places which puts a huge impact on the environment.
Hello, my name is Aubri I'm from the United States, your carbon footprint is very low, which is awesome. The average carbon footprint in my region is 13,115kgs my carbon footprint was also below average at 10,001kgs. My transportation is the highest which is the same with yours. I'm amazed how conservative your region is.
hey Petar, your carbon footprint is actually quite small compared to mine, my transportation was 7,098 kgs! my total carbon footprint was 14,063 kgs which is significantly bigger than yours!
My total carbon footprint was 11,083. The total carbon footprint in my region was 15,918. My highest carbon footprint came from my transportation. My transportation was 5,983 and my regions was 4,184. I was surprised because I only drive to and from school and I drive to go with friends on the weekends. My second highest footprint was food. I was also surprised about this because I don't eat breakfast and I hardly eat anything during the day. Compared to my region I think I did pretty good also. I was under my region in some but I was also above my region in some. I am doing things to reduce some things so I can improve my footprint.
