Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

How can you change your carbon footprint?
You may not know but you can influence the amount of carbon which is released into the atmosphere daily and not even realize. Things which impact it is transportation, electricity usage, and even the food you buy, but luckily there are things you can do to minimize your footprint.
For one carpooling or even walking or taking a bike can lower your carbon footprint tremendously considering how much vehicles release carbon. Additionally, unplugging electronics not in use can help lower carbon levels bc power plants can use less energy to power some homes. And even buying non organic foods can lower your carbon level so than less resources are used to produce them .
