Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

What are the main ways to stop climate change?
From my point of view, climate change is getting to the point where we are almost past no return. Our world is falling into shambles and only some are trying to build us out of this mess while others could barely care if we died tomorrow or today. I know people blame climate change on us not recycling or not putting trash in the right bin but I believe that we as the general population are not responsible. I believe that the industrialist and the markets are the ones responsible the big companies that throw away food and water that could be going to the needy and the industrialist that make more and more supplies but add more and more fossil fuel to our slowly dying environment. Do you agree or disagree with me? [Climate](//muut.com/u/footprint/s1/:footprint:YH0O:climate.jpg.jpg)
I agree with all the statements you made in your essay. It is really hard for us to come back from what we have caused. I think if we all really try, we can make a change.
I agree with you in saying big companies are mostly responsible for massive amounts of carbon emissions all over the world. Exxon Mobil, after making an effort to reduce carbon emissions, still produce 125 million metric tons of carbon dioxide per year. The average American person emits 16.5 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year(2014). That number is still a lot higher than it should be but is nothing compared to the amount of carbon fossil fuel companies emit. I think a way to solve this problem could be to find alternative ways of creating fuel that does not produce as much CO2. It might take a long time to make a change but our environment desperately needs one.
