Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Efficient Cars

ayaanpuri

Cars release a lot of gas which is harming the environment. It is important for people to realize that electric cars are more efficient and better for the environment. Gas cars release carbon into the air and that destroys our atmosphere.

I agree with you,but i think not all people have money to buy electric cars!
Another way  is to buy cars that do not release much CO2 such as Euro 5 cars

I totally agree with both of you, and I have a okay solution for people who can't afford a electric car. They can buy a used car which helps the enviorment because it doesn't have to produce a new car which definitely creates more polution.

That's true, but people can also start thinking of  buying used electric cars. The prices of those cars are lower. Plus eco tax for cars are zero if you have an electric car.

Yes it is a possibility
