Hi everyone! I am a high school student and I here a lot about people saying that they want to make a difference in their carbon footprint in their day-to-day life for the atmosphere and global warming but I wonder if people are doing for the animals in the world as well? Many animals are going extinct and I see that there are animal activist groups and separate environmental groups but not as many groups or teams that work with both of these issues. I know that both atmosphere/global warming and animal and habitats effect each other greatly and that by saving one you are helping each other but I wonder if other people think about that as they are making all these healthy changes to their life. Things such as recycling helps keep less trash get into our Eco-system as well as preventing more trees from getting cut down but solar systems, although both are equally beneficial, really only have a direct impact to the atmosphere and carbon footprints. If I mistaken any of my information and am lacking something crucial that will turn my argument the other way please tell me,  I am greatly open to learning something new. Also, I am not trying to offend anyone because everything that we do as a society to better help our Earth is amazing but I would just like to add another opinion to the world. Please respond with any input that you would like to share, I would greatly appreciate it and am open to anything!
