Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Lowering car admissions

MateoHUSABODMM

Car admissions are a big problem when it comes to making climate change worse. Some ways to lower car admissions are to start carpooling when possible so fewer cars are on the road. Also taking public transit is another way to lower car admissions. If there are fewer cars on the road than there will be less CO (carbon monoxide) in the air. Last people can start using electric cars. Electric cars emit a lot less CO than normal cars do. If people start doing these things, then we might help the earth survive a little longer.
