Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Hello everyone ! My name is Szymon.
I am 17 years old and I live in Rybnik, Poland.
In my opinion my carbon footprint is defenitely much higher then the average result in my region. It is 10,683kgs of CO2, in Poland it is 6.5.26kgs of CO2. I have got the biggest problem in category 'home' what is 6,742kgs. The difference is incredible higher than results in my region what is 2,858kgs. I want to ask you what i have to do to get lower score in this category. Anything else is not too bad. Can you help me ?
