Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

will we ever be able to stop climate change?
From my point of view i feel that climate change is not something that one million or even 10 million people could stop. It is something that we as a whole world will need to work on. We are not able to blame certain people for this world that we have built but all of us as one, and if we any chance of turning this around and changing our world we will all need to work at it. Trying to stop climate change will be difficult because everyone will need to be involved in the change therefore I feel that it wont ever be possible to change. In this scenario there are many people who may not care about the consequences of their actions. Such as industries and factories, they may only see the good they are bringing to this earth and not the bad. Because of the situations we may never officially be able to bring climate change to an end but rather just slow down the process by doing as much as we all can on our own.
Carbon will always be released into the atmosphere. That's just part of the carbon cycle, but we can always so it down so that it becomes more natural and easier for organisms to adapt to. There is too much carbon in the atmosphere, so plants can't transfer it all into oxygen. By lowering the level of carbon in the atmosphere, plants will be able to regulatethe amount of carbon and other greenhouse gases.
I agree, and I don't think that climate change will ever fully stop, as we cannot undo the damage we have already done. At this point, it is important to stop climate change in order to prevent damage from getting worse. Even if we got rid of almost all human carbon emissions we would still have the existing damage that we have already done. Many species have gone extinct, many glaciers have melted, and the global temperature has already risen.
Therefore, as students, the main way we can help is if we ALL follow carbon-reducing practices. It is important as an individual to do your part, because if not each person participates, the problem is too large-scale for any 1 person to handle. According to NASA, "most of the warming occurred in the past 35 years, with the five warmest years on record taking place since 2010." This means that recent generations are most responsible for climate change. This holds each generation more and more responsible and makes reducing carbon emissions in our generation even more important.
I don't think so,
it's hard to stop something before educating people about environmental pollution.
I think if we aware that pollution is a seriously problem , we can motivate us to do a change in the world.
We probably will be able but we need to try really hard.
I think nothing it’s imposible. If we really want that with very big efforts we will can change it!
The change lies in us. if we do nothing to stop this, perhaps our planet will disappear. we create our own environment in which we live and influence everything around us. so yes, I think we can stop global warming, but only if we want to.
