Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Mindful with the lights
There are several ways to reduce your carbon footprint in the house. One way is to change the light bulbs in your house. LED light bulbs are much more sustainable than incandescent and fluorescent light bulbs. Studies show that in 2017 the total carbon emission was reduced by over half a billion tons of carbon due to LED's. However, since that can be diffucult to do, turning of the lights when you leave a room can signifigantly decrease your footprint.
I agree with you because many people leave the lights on, when they aren’t at home. This cause a high wast of energy and pollution, so if we turn off the lights and all electronic appliances: our mobile, our laptop and our tablet, we can reduce our carbon foot print.
I also think that changing light bulbs is another solution.
