Energy Consumption through Everyday Technology
Everyday, we use electronics either for school, work, or for entertainment. These technology do not have an infinite battery and require to be charged. People often charge their devices over night, and it continues to charge the device even though it is already fully charged. Currently, smartphones alone are releasing 6.4 megatons of of greenhouse gases. To limit this, we should make an effort in not leaving the device charging while it is already charged. I myself am still trying to make this a daily routine. A solution to this problem may be charging during the day where you are more aware of what is happening rather than charging at night.
