Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

How can you help fight Climate Change?
Rising sea levels, terrible floods, severe droughts, bad fires, are all effects of climate change. These effects are already threatening our health, community, economy, and definitely the future. Here are some changes we can make: We could all start using LED light bulbs at home, its not that different from fluorescent bulbs and is an easy change to make. We can recycle old appliances this definitely helps, we can adjust our washing machine settings, and clean the dryer lint filter after each cycle. These are all important in the steps to stopping climate change.Stop throwing away food.
We can also compost, go on a climate-friendly diet, and recycle. Buy less bottled water. We can use less water, buy green power (and consider solar panels) and plant a tree. These are all very easy and not that time consuming changes to make. Some may be expensive like getting solar panels but it is definitely worth it.
