Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Thinking about it overall

josipzeba

So I've progressed in reducing the CO2 emitting. Since the biggest part of CO2 emitions was on food i reduced my intake of meat. I can't really influence on the other sectors but when I grow older I will. But even when I do,  and if we all do,  Earth isn't going to become sustainable. It won't be sustainable because big corporations will not pay extra to produce stuff in their factories. Wars will not be stopped just because they are producing too much CO2. Not on their own at least. So we must stop them, and the best way of doing that is to share this website on facebook, twitter,  put it in some local papers and let people know where we are heading our race. I propose you to share this site wherever you can to raise awareness about the consequencess which are destined to happrn if we dont change our ways of living. Let this be our silent protest against everyone who doesn't tend to stop hurtin our mother Earth.
