The Way Climate Change Effects the Earth
According to a study done by NASA(National Aeronautics and Space Administration); human development and industrialization have caused the global temperature to rise by 1.9 degrees Fahrenheit since 1980, the polar ice caps to melt by a staggering 413 gigatonnes per year, and the global sea level to rise by 3.3cm per year. Although this number may not seem dangerous or otherwise concerning, it is important to keep in mind that as a result of human practices, the sea level has risen 3.3cm around the world.
