Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Global warming

There are many reports of our world only having 175 months to live. Our world is being overun with too much CO2 and we need to end it. We need to begin to each pay attention to our CO2 outtake. If we do not help or world and truly begin to produce a better, safer world, our world could end.

Inevitably, our world will end. There is nothing we can do to change that, but, we can delay such actions from happening. So when you say our world is being overrun with carbon dioxide emissions, wouldn't you think that we would be long gone before that could even happen? I think you have the right idea when it comes to reducing the outtake of carbon dioxide emissions into our atmosphere. But, at the same time, the rate at which you propose of our world ending is flawed due to lack of evidence along with the idea that it just doesn't seem realistic that our world would end in only fourteen and a half years due to carbon dioxide emissions alone...
