Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Through deforestation and urbanization our environment is being destroyed.
Deforestation is a big issue. It is wiping out endangered species of animals and plants.
All because people are in a need to expand the cites so they can built unnecessary houses, skyscrapers…
while some people live on the streets full of garbage, some people have over three houses
just to show off their earnings.

Yes I agree with you on this as. Most of our great natural places of society are being destroyed for more and more buildings that we really don't need, and I feel like what they need to do is improve the already built buildings to make them more environmentally friendly instead of hurting and destroying some species for selfish reasons.
