The difference between wanting things and needing things
Overall, most people get things because they want them. People get new phones, computers and tv's because they want to keep up with the new technology. The thing is that these are all wanted. You do not need these things because usually, the older thing that you are replacing is perfectly fine and will work fine. When you need something it means that it is necessary to have and you will not be able to do without it. For example, a need is water but a want is a phone.
