Carbon Reduction in Technology
Technology has been a "want." It has contributed to high carbon emissions throughout the world and has created a large carbon footprint. An example is lighting; it is essential in the United States and yet causes high emissions. However, just by changing incandescent, fluorescent, etc. lights to _Carbon Reduction_ _Technology’s_ LED lights can make an impact. By changing the light source, it reduces carbon emissions. It is supplied with a low amount of carbon and has a high level of efficiency. When technology makes this big of an impact, it becomes a “need.” Changing energy sources for something like home appliances can reduce your carbon footprint by doing the smallest things such as switching a light bulb. Therefore, technology acts negatively and positively but _you_ decide which way it acts.
