I think technology is a need because you need to be connected to the internet for a lot of useful things and to know and be capable of learning and inform yourself. But buying the latest phone that you don't actually need just because it's the new one and everybody has it is just fashion.

I disagree with you, I do not think all technological devices are a need, I mean, yes, there are some that can be considered to be a need but they did not use to be a need. For example, nowadays phones can be seen as a need, but a laptop or computer is a want because we can do everything we do in computers on our phones, so why have a computer if you have a phone?

I like your idea, I believe that we need technologies but of course not all of them, but the daily ones and essential ones are must! And having the newest phone is not a good idea, people are just trying to be fashion, maybe you have a iphone5, you can wait until iPhone7 and change a new one, buy everyone of them, causes a lot of money and they are also polluting the environment
