Electronics are mainly a want, for people have survived centuries without devices such as televisions and cellphones. Electronics are devices that were created to make life easier, but they are not completely necessary to survive. Even today in some parts of the world people live without the devices we, in america, claim to not be able to survive a single week without. But it should be noted that in the advancing technological world we live in electronics have been growing into a need. Things like refrigerators and microwaves are machines that allow us to store, preserve, and cook food easily which back in the day would have been done through digging a deep whole in the ground and making a fire in the wilderness. But as time has continued much of the wilderness has become cities which are not the ideal place to do things like make fires to heat one's food. In conclusion, electronics are a want that are developing into a need as the world around us continues to change and advance technologically.
