Is having the latest technology a want or a need?
How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?

Is technology a necessity?
I believe that having the latest version of technology is somewhat unnecessary. It is understandable to feel like getting a new and improved version of a device but do you really need it? It could be a strong desire but not a necessity. People tend to confuse the things they want and need in their life. Anything helping you to survive is something you need. You could need a puzzle piece to finish a puzzle but you don't need the iPhone 6S to function, you would be perfectly fine with the previous iPhone model. I personally have the iPhone 6 and I have no intention of getting the newer model.
