There are many things that we want, and when we get them we waste them. Next time you think about buying something that might have an affect on the environment, ask yourself, "Do I really need this?"

This is very true today. To help our environment we should only take what we actually need to survive. The rest is excess and is a waste of our resources. People should throughly think through what they need in their lives and if it is really necessary.

I completely agree! So many people, including myself at times buy things just to buy them and then end up wasting or never using them. I like the thought of asking yourself "Do i really need this?"! I will definitely use this in my daily life.

When we get things we do take advantage of them. We barely use them and we often throw them away after not much use of them. We should stop and think about if we really need these things that we purchase because they are not always good for our environment.

So you mean that people should use/buy products that are helpful for the environment but also helps their own needs? What if the product you buy will help you personally but hurt the environment in some other way. Should you give up that product and settle for something else or find a way to balance out helping and hurting the environment all together.

I think you make a really good point. We need vs. what we want is very different. Buying things that we use daily would be more helpful for the environment because we would only buy things we depend on, but if we were to buy things we want all the time would cause a lot of waste for the extra stuff we wouldn't be usinb
