Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Keyhole Gardens for dry climates
Hello folks,
My husband and I are looking into different ways to save water with our gardens here in Florida. Currently we have a small herb garden and several fruit trees that are doing well and have not required anything more than natural rain showers. We would like to next year grow some veggies for salads and such. We have been looking into the Keyhole style of gardening used in dry climates. Have any of you tried this type of garden? here is a link: http://www.offthegridnews.com/2014/07/2 … h-no-rain/
Over all I think they would look great in a small backyard. I like that they are off the ground too.
