Is having the latest technology a want or a need?
How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?

You don't always need the newest model of something its much better to use what you have or at least get it used.
I agree people upgrade perfectly good devices and other things jut because they want a new model.
newer appliances can be more cost and energy efficient.
I do the same thing I have a perfectly good phone but I end up buying the newest thing.
I agree. So many people think they need the most expensive or newest devices even though there was nothing wrong with the old one.
I agree, and I think that it could reduce the amount of waste produced by throwing away that old model of something.
I agree, just use what you have! It will save you a lot of money, and new models may have a more significant effect on the environment.

I agree, you do not need to replace something that is not broken just because something new and "better" has come out.
