On Earth there is an organism called Homo sapiens, a.k.a. humans. We are those humans. In our blood there is personalities and desires. Some desires overpower our needs. A lot of us go out shopping on Black Friday for Christmas, but usually end up buying things that we won’t be giving as presents. Therefore the items fall under the “wants” category. Example: buying a Lego set for my cousin, but also buying a pajama set for myself. As a country we could change this by buying more cloths from thrift stores, stores being closed on Black Friday, and by not going on shopping sprees. Then once we do buy something, we should recycle the packaging from the items. Just on Black Friday alone, the average American spends $500 dollars. I applaud the stores that are not open on Black Friday. They are trying to save our planet.
