In our current society, our lives revolve around modern technology. But one of the many flaws of human kind is that we overuse the resources that we have. Whenever some sort of new technology comes out, there is always this pressure to get it in order to be "cool". But if you can start to not care about the materialistic things in life, we could reduce the want for unnecessary luxury items.
