Carbon Footprint from California
31180 LBS PER YEAR. After seeing my result and comparing it to worldwide average of 8358 lbs I could not believe how unaware I had been of my carbon footprint. I did not realize how much was being emitted through transportation. My regions average for transportation was around 5000 lbs while my individual result was roughly 15000 lbs. This was very shocking to see and now I am determined to find alternative ways to lower my carbon footprint. I have started to carpooling more often with as many people as I can fit in my car and walking down the street to get groceries rather than driving all the time. The simple things add up. Hopefully, more people will become aware of their footprint as I have and start to take action.
