I believe technology is a need because in this generation the world thrives and is revolved around technology. Technology is used for complex things like businesses, communication, school, and even simple things like to tell the time, set an alarm, check your calendar. In other words without technology we would be lost. To help understand why technology is so in need in our generation, try to go a day without technology. That means no electronic devices, no tv, no radio. It doesn’t help that our generation is so advanced in technology. We thrive and live off of technology. It helps us to create clean energy good for our environment and low emission on transportation which saves resources. Technology isn’t only about technology, it’s also about helping and discovering methods and ways to better our future. Personally I believe without technology in this era we won't be able to thrive and succeed the way we can with it. Even though the newest iphone or newest ipad isn't needed technology is still in need.

I would agree that in this day and age technology is a need. Perhaps if we had grown up without it, it would be more realistic to not use advanced technology. In many countries throughout the world there is little to no recent technology and obviously they are surviving, so clearly it is possible to live without it. In more advanced countries such as the US, most live off of technology and need certain things to live their lives and do their jobs whether they are adults or students. Although I do believe technology is generally a necessity there are obvious cases where we do not need it. For example the compony apple is quite frequently coming out with new devices. It would not be a necessity to get the new product as soon as it comes out, which many people do. Overall I would definitely agree that we need technology because if we stopped using it, it would completely change the way we run our lives.
