People today need technology to communicate in order to get home or to get work done. Technology also too helps old friend link together to talk or get something to eat. This is necessary because if a friend moves away or lives a distance away it is easier to plan what you guys could do together. On the downside technology can also harm us. When people are trying to work or focus on a task it is harder for them when they are constantly ringing or buzzing because we are tempted to use them. Another thing they negatively effects us is the costs of the phone like bills or warranty. Later on this could hurt you later when you need money. In my opinion I think phones are worth it because planning things ahead and getting reminders can really help you stay organized.

I believe that technology has evolved into a need in today's society. For example, banking has completely changed the way people manage their money, especially with credit cards. Another example is for medical reasons. Technology has saved lives and helped improved many lives as well.

While writing my post I didn't realize the need for technology that you brought up in your post. I thought it was more of a want at first but now you have convinced me that it is more of a need. It never occurred to me the vital use of technology in communication. The use of technology in the modern world is much more important now that we are advancing into the future.

I definitely feel that technology is a crucial part of society today. For example, communication would be nearly impossible with technology such as cell phones or email. Without communication, we would have immense difficulty in almost all aspects of our lives. While it is also convenient and fun to have, it is now essential and quite necessary.

I definitely agree with you, there are many pros and cons to the use of technology and its usually a personal preference. For example, some people completely rely on their cellphones and cannot live without it, while some people can live without phones.

I agree. I feel like technology is definitely more of a need rather then a want in todays society. I think we humans have become so used to technological advances and upgrades in everything we do, it would be pretty hard to go without them. With technology we have different ways to communicate (which is vital to our prosperity and mental health), we have advanced medicine, faster ways to do things, and better relations with other places. We evolved for the better and technology is the reason for a huge majority of our success as a human race. There are pros and cons, but the pros outweigh the cons, and it is such a vital part of our life. It is a need, like water.
