Having the latest technology is something that most of us want, not necessarily need. The environmental impact of buying the newest technology is that in the making of these items, fossils are burned in the making and that pollutes the air. Also, factories are taking up lots of space where animals are supposed to be to create these items.

This post is really interesting to me. I like how you not only wrote about the pollution caused due to technology usage but also destruction caused due to production. According to a study done by Carnegie Cyber Academy, they also believe that having the latest technology is often times really harmful to the wellbeing of the earth. The Academy states that in addition to noise, water, and heat pollution, the production of technology like cellular devices use many “non-renewable resources” such as precious metals like gold. In addition, they also argue that even the most renewable resources, like trees and water, are becoming “contaminated or used up faster than they can renew themselves because of technology.”
