I think that technology is both a want and a need. With todays advances without technology you wouldn't be up to date with the world, and its changes. Technology is mostly what the world thrives from. However, this is not to be confused with children wanting the newest iPhone, or computer that was just released. That itself is a different matter and subject.

I agree with this. A lot of technology is not needed for us to live but it helps us get tasks done much faster and do things much easier than without it. For example, with todays population, we need a lot of the food producing technology that we currently have, used to mass produce food products.

I believe that technology is a need and want. Technology is such a valuable tool in all areas of the world, this is shown in all countries, from ones who have very simple technology compared to other countries that are very advanced. This technology is sometime lifesaving with the advances in medical technology and technology that can study weather patterns to help keep people safer. In the example with medical advances people can be saved by better scans that show more effective models of the body and things like cancer cells, or by the showing of weather patters so people know when it is safe to fly or when they should prepare for a storm. Technology is also a want do to the advertisement and advancements in the technological economy. Showing from companies like Apple and Samsung who create products that they market to people who should need these for there daily lives like phones or computers. This makes people want this technology which to some can help them with there jobs but to others like 8 year old kids who want an xbox to play games it is different.

i believe that technology is a want and a need because you dont need a phone that you can do everything on but people need their phone to make important business calls that could impact something very big and then theres other things that you might not even need like people don't need a watch that tells the time and you can check all your social medias on and you don't need a laptop and a desktop that you don't use half of the time.

This sort of technology that uses lots of electricity and increases individuals carbon footprints is having a negative effect on the environment but doesn't have any positive effects. Medicine technology can have a negative effect on the environment, but it is worth it for the benefits that come with medicine technology.
