Technology, a want or a need?
I believe that technology is more of a want than a need. Some people are conservative and only buy new tech when their old one does not work anymore. However, many people buy the latest tech just because they want to. Little do these people know that every time they buy a new phone or laptop, they are using up Earths resources. There were nearly 7.19 billion mobile devices in the world in 2014. This number grows everyday as the world becomes more advanced and more phones are released and bought. I think that in order to become more aware of this growing problem, people should know all the issues that are caused by the manufacturing of these products. It will help the environment if people are more conservative with what they buy and when they buy it.
