I think most people feel like having the newest technology is a need and on some level I agree, but at this point it isn't a need for us to be getting new technology twice a year, especially if the updates aren't major. I don't think a better camera or a little bit better screen on a laptop is worth throwing out the older models that still work perfectly fine. Instead of buying the latest technology I think we should be getting out into the world trying to help it. Screens aren't good for our bodies anyways, the blue light can really mess up a persons vision. And for the people making new technology I think they should be trying to find ways to cut down on blue light and update our old technology without having to make new tech all the time. All in all I think its all about finding for the medium and finding technology that is better for planet earth.

I agree with you because the updates to most technology is minor and the older technology still works fine so there is no point in spending so much money for a single upgrade. I also think that because people are buying new technology twice a year the old products are thrown into landfills and they pollute the earth. If we update the technology that currently exists then we don't pollute the Earth or waste money on products that can harm our bodies. Like you said the blue light is harmful so updating more will harm our bodies more. In general, it's better to wait to update technology instead of rushing to buy the new model.

I agree, you can always keep up to date with the modern tech by waiting a couple years before buying a new phone, you don't need to purchase a new phone every couple months because it's the trend to stay at the epitome of tech, when your old phone is almost identical to the newest version, and you waste much less dangerous chemicals from the broken phones which poison everything, best to wait for a much more different model...
