I think technology is both a want or necessity, I think this because it's also an addictive thing that people latch onto just because everyone else has the newest phone. I also say this because nowadays it's like people can't live without their phones or they're always on their phones. Although I do state this it can also be a necessity because you could be in a major accident how else could you contact family members but that's obviously not that common. Either way its still more of a want because of how people impulse buy the newest phone or they can't be a second without their phone.
