My Carbon Footprint (Mooresville, NC)
Hi my name is Sarah, I am 18 years old. I attend school at Senior Mooresville high school. My carbon footprint total was 42,586 kgs. My total would be considered above average. The majority of my carbon footprint would be found in my transportation do to the fact that it was very high compared to my region. I was surprised on how high my purchases were. I was also surprised at how low my food and electricity were. I learned that I drive a lot around town which caused my total carbon footprint to be very high. I plan to reduce my driving.

Food= 3,641 kgs
Purchases= 696 kgs

As you, it's my first time to know the truth and it shock me. I didn't aware this before. Fortunately, I can change it now! I can ride bike instead of walking.
