Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Great idea
The ecological footprint measurement is a project which can change people's attitude.
It can increase worldwide concern, because you would be able to know what you are doing wrong to the enviroment. This test helps rise awareness of people, because it can make everyone notice what is right, and change bad habits.
In my opinion if you take care about your planet this may influence in your life because it shows us how much is our consumption and compares it with the rest of the world.
I believe this activity or whatever its called is a great idea as well. I agree I think this could really help
I do agree that the footprint measurement was a creative idea. It is clear that one may analyse the evolution of his or her footprint over the years, and compare it to the average of their country. However, I am sceptical about the impact this may have on a global scale. My footprint, for instance, did not improve over the years, and neither has the footprint of the people I have spoken to. While this may work well for the people who do care a lot about the environment, it does not truly impact the others. I, for instance, believe the world is a self-regulative system, and would rather put effort into helping human beings in need.
