Nowadays, our society tend to use more and more the new gadgets, as the smartphones to search anything they want in a short period of time.
From my point of view, technology is a need for our generation, as it offer the confort of finding everything online, anytime. It can help us with finding information about school projects and be documented about the news around the world.
Also, many jobs include using the ultimate gadgets, so the technology is introduced without any retainers in our every day life. More, many schools from different countries replace the books with ipads.

I agree that in this day in age, technology is a need. So many jobs require using it and it can be very beneficial. I do however think that we don’t need the newest technology to get around. When people are constantly purchasing the best generation of a technology (iPhone for instance), then it becomes a want. One exception to this is if your job depends on the best/newest generation.
