Is having the latest technology a want or a need?
How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?

I have only had 2 phones but that is just in 2 years of having one. I know that some people in my family get a new phone/new model each year and really they don't need one they just think that the new model is "better" or looks nicer. I don't think they think about what is happening to the environment when they get the phone they just think about them and what they want.
