Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My total was 15,771. My footprint was average. My total is 15,771 kgs. My transportation was the highest at 7,136. We are always traveling some where because of travel basketball. Over all I expected to have a high average but I was about average. I learned how much energy I use. I would have had no clue if I would have not done the Carbon Footprint. I plan on turning off the lights and water. I also plan on car pulling to practice more.
You have a very good transportation rate.
Your transportation was the highest just as mine is. Turing off lights, water, and taking less trips would be a good idea to reduce the footprint.
Keep your water off, make sure you aren't using electricity for no reason.
Well,If you don't need to use water and light, you should close them instead of keep them turn on. You could travel by bike if the place you go is not so far from your home, it could also train your body. ![]()
I agree with you. After I have done this carbon footprint in this website, I know how much energy I use and now I have the concept of carbon footprint. My total is quite high I think because of the transportations. I need to travel around and my school is far from my home too. But I still think I should walk more or ride a bike. I should also turn off the lights when I leave the room because I often forget to do it. It waste energy.
