Most people don't have the will power to not let the tecnological advancement affect their carbon footprint. They want the latest car like a Ferrari, Bugatti, Range Rover, or a Lamborghini (Not to say I'm not guilty of wanting these luxury cars) We don't realize the affect it has on the environement.
