Human is never satisfied with what they have. They are always striving for more. I think that is just human nature, we live in a materialistic world. There is always the latest technology that is always coming and people always want the new thing to keep up with the trend but is it actually what we want or need
I agree, there are new things coming out every year. Technology just keeps on improving and new electronics come out every year with ad that make people want to have that new technology. If everything just lasted as they used to, for 5 or more years, people wouldn't keep needing to buy new basic necessities needed to live life every 2 years and just throwing away the old item. If companies focused on how long things lasted instead of being greedy and purposefully making their products not last very long, we could decrease the amount of carbon being put into the air because there would be no need for a large numbers of factories due to the lack of need for those products.
